Description

This has been in service for several years and the body presented regions of that created raisers for nucleation and growth, leading to a final rupture after propagation for more than 50% of the section. The metallographic examination of a longitudinal sample indicated the presence of propagating from localized corroded spots at the outside diameter. The internal detached only at the failed position.
