Description

The rope was due to evidences of localized . The appeared as a flattened area formed on outer wires, concentrated in narrow zones, probably due to localized contact. The rope was disassembled and the wires were individually tested. It is a high strength wire rope, construction 6 x 19, SEALE, galvanized independent wire rope core (IWRC) with all strands and the core wires manufactured in a cold drawn that meets both IPS and EIPS grades.
