Description

The - , longitudinally welded, presented low impact energy in the , , after during 1 hour at 720°C. The low toughness and high hardness results in the weld metal are associated to of the segregated . The maximum level of the spec is 0.012% but the weld metal presented 0.021%, although the P content of the was only 0.006%P, showing the detrimental effect of the impurities in the weld metal.
