Yield Strength at 0.2% Deformation

Also known as: YS02

A yield strength value obtained from a using a small, defined amount of permanent (plastic) deformation as the criterion for yielding, because many metals do not show a sharp, easily identified yield point. It is one of the most commonly reported strength properties for structural and pressure-equipment materials.
