Superduplex Stainless Steel

A highly alloyed stainless steel with a microstructure containing roughly equal proportions of austenite and ferrite, combined with a higher alloy content than standard duplex grades. It offers a strong combination of high strength and resistance to localized and stress corrosion cracking, and is commonly used in demanding chloride-bearing or sour service.
