Material
Low Alloy Steel
Also known as: LAS
A containing modest additions of alloying elements — such as , , , or vanadium — in amounts too low to be considered a high-alloy but sufficient to improve properties such as strength, toughness, or resistance to a specific service condition. It is widely in structural, pressure-vessel, and applications where plain does not offer enough performance.
