Welding

Fillet Weld

A weld of roughly triangular cross-section to join two surfaces at an angle to each other, typically where one member overlaps or is perpendicular to another, as opposed to a butt weld joining two edges in the same plane. It is one of the most common weld joint geometries in structural and fabrication.
